“Propaganda” – Dead Prez
Bob Marley died May 11, 1981. Cause of death? Cancer. Or so they want you to believe. In, “Propaganda,” is the line, “I don’t believe Bob Marley died from cancer.” A lot of people, including Dead Prez, don’t believe the hype about the stated cause of death. A lot of people believe a far more sinister decease, aided by the government. The story goes that Bob had cancer developed on one of his toes, however he refused doctors recommendations to get it amputated because it went against his Rastafarian religious beliefs. Did Bob Marley die of cancer? Or did he die of sinister plot? The world may never know.
