One step forward, two back.
Last week Trinidad James was in the headlines for all the right reasons: his new song, “Def Jam”, was well received and appeared to be a turning point for the “All Gold Everything” rapper, who had a rough ending to 2013, fueled by some controversial comments he made at a New York performance and a Tim Westwood freestyle that didn’t draw much critical acclaim.

News broke just now via TMZ that James was arrested at a Mississippi hotel for smoking weed in his hotel room. Too bad he wasn’t in Denver or Seattle. We’ll update this story as details become available but, probably not.
