23-year-old Cheyenne Woods is Tiger Woods’ niece, but it would be an understatement to say that she followed in her uncle’s footsteps. Aside from their family resemblance, Cheyenne has a similar game but that should be expected since both Woods can boast that Earl Woods, Sr. (Tiger’s dad, Cheyenne’s grandfather) coached them both.

At the Austrialian Ladies Masters, Woods (Cheyenne that is) won her first major professional tour victory by 2 strokes. Woods turned professional in 2012 after an All-American career at Wake Forest and her only previous pro victory came in 2012 in mini-tour event at SunCoast. In December, she missed the cut in the LPGA Tour’s qualifying tournament in a failed bid to earn a spot on the circuit.

She’ll be playing next week in the LPGA Tour-sanctioned Women’s Australian Open.
