An arrest has been made in the shooting death of Mazaradi Fox, according to police officials.
Scott Jamal was collared in Queens, and is said to have been the one who sprayed bullets into the SUV that was carrying Fox. Fox, whose real name is Jamal Green stumbled outside of the car and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The early afternoon attack that occurred on Jan. 3 left many stunned, including 50 Cent who expressed his condolences via Twitter.
“Saddened by the news of Mazaradi’s tragic passing my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends,” he tweeted to his million plus followers.
The three others in the SUV with Fox were injured but survived.
As for Scott Jamal, 35, he has been charged with second-degree murder and four counts of attempted murder and felony assault.
