Whether you fall into the first or second category, Pleasure P‘s latest mixtape, Break Up To Make Up, has something for you to vibe with. Formerly of Pretty Ricky fame, the twenty nine year old Floridan is seasoned and ready to woo those with his solo effort and break away from his past. This twelve track project will definitely help him succeed in that regard, as he tackles more mature topics, like pain of losing someone you love, and demonstrates his incredible vocal talent.
The mixtape is divided into two six song sections: break up and make up. Break up is filled with tracks that see Pleasure P in his anguish at a lost love, pleading for her return; while make up is compromised of more love making music and optimism. Both sides offer a great amount of variety and are prefect compliments to your holiday, however it is going so far.
“Letter To My Ex” was the first single released to fans and today, Pleasure P drops the accompanying visuals. Shot in a beautiful beach town, it is easy to see why he is languishing over his past lover and you can’t help but empathize with him. His melancholy crooning is the opposite of the optimistic visuals being display, which really highlight the joy he once felt.
