Ellen Page officially comes out the closet
Actress, Ellen Page made an announcement that she is gay and is not afraid to tell the world. She was tired of keeping it a secret and made the announcement known when she was speaking at the Time to Thrive Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada for LGBT youth.
She admitted that she was scared to come out because of the reaction she will get from her peers and the movie industry.

The Oscar nominee wanted to make a difference at the conference by making the announcement and telling the youth that it is okay to come out & not being afraid of what the world thinks.
