Mini skirts are still part of some of the winter collections. Nobody can imagine rocking a mini skirt in 7 inches deep snow but designers still over look that and add it to their fall/winter collections anyway. But many are playing the modesty card for next fall, going below the knee, to keep the knees warm next winter. Rebecca Minkoff’s asymmetrical hemlines (another big trend for Fall 2014) dropped low, Victoria Beckham made her midis sparkle, Suno and Tracy Reese filled up theirs with patterns, and Yigal Azrouel showed his as pencil skirts.
