What do you love about Jeremy Scott?

I just love his fun attitude to fashion. I think that he always takes risks and I take risks, so that’s why I like him. I respect him a lot. I think he always puts his ass on the line and he just is really cool, that’s why I like his stuff.

Tell us about your style.

My style? I don’t know, it’s kind of a bit messy. Today I was like, “I have to go to this fashion show” and then I thought “Shit! I just have to go get a night dress.” I was just running around the streets in the freezing cold in this. It’s a bit hectic, that’s kind of how my life is.

Anything upcoming music-wise that you want to share to your fans?

Yes, I’m filming a video with Iggy Azalea this weekend in LA for our song “Fancy” and that’s coming out April 6.

What was it like collaborating with Iggy Azalea?

She’s just a bad bitch. She’s super cool and so classy and sexy and an amazing rapper, so it’s cool to be working with her.

How did the collaboration come about?

She just wanted me to write some hooks for her record and then she heard what I did and she was into it and said, “Stay on it.” So I was like, “Yeah, cool ok.” So it just happened only two weeks ago and now it’s already like we’re filming the video, it has been really intense.

The Source Magazine was invited to this presentation by American Express. This season American Express continued its support of emerging designers through its partnership downtown at MADE Fashion Week at Milk Studios.  Card Members experienced an intimate look into the artistic process through designer meet-and-greets hosted by Micah Jesse, hairstyling sessions by Drybar, as well as MADE’s lineup of young designer shows including CUSHNIE ET OCHS, Jeremy Scott, Alexandre Herchcovitch and more.

Iggy Azalea’s debut album, “The New Classic,” will arrive on April 14th.
