Candace turns up the heat this week
Last week on the hit series, The Haves and The Have Nots, Jim is trying everything he can to protect Wyatt from getting arrested in the death of the little girl and hitting Benny. He swears that he would never get on drugs again because he now regrets what he did. While having a conversation at home with Jeffery, Amanda confesses that she wants to kill her parents but she insisted that it was a joke but Jeffery is not to convinced.
This week, it’s all about Candace as she turns up the heat in this episode. The episode is a continuation from last week where Tony served Hanna court papers for not getting an organ from Benny who is still in a coma. This news was making Hanna devastated as she wanted to be left alone with Benny. Candace tells Hanna that she should go to court because if she doesn’t go they were issue an warrant.
Amanda was having a terrible nightmare and Jeffery hears her while he is sleeping in the living room. She all jumpy as he came in the room and decides to go out for a walk. Candace came home from the hospital and decides that she wants to go out and she insist that Jeffery goes with her. Jeffery thinks that they were going to a regular club but come to find out that they are going to a gay club, in which he is not really into going to. But Candace eventually persuades him to go. Amanda is at her professor’s house where he is sleeping with his wife and daughter and points a gun at him.
She doesn’t kills him but insists to beg for his mercy, just like she did when he raped her but she leaves before his wife woke up. Detective Byron revealed to Hanna that the case was so close to him because his wife was killed by a drunk driver. Amanda insists to Candace that she needs her inheritance money and tells her that the family is going to be at Jim’s party for governor. Candace represents Hanna in court as the judge determines if Tony is going to get Benny’s kidney. While at the club with Candace, Jeffery meets a guy named London, who is in business in Atlanta and seemed nervous but hit off instantly.
Candace crashes Jim’s party and she serves him with court papers. Towards the end of the show, Jeffery meets with his mother, Veronica and he is wearing jeans and a purple tank top, in which he doesn’t wear on the regular basis. His mother gives him a binder full of potential women to escort him to Jim inauguration for governor but he is not feeling it and he calls Candace and meets them for lunch. He told her that she is his bad b**ch just like when she told him about her gay cousin. Veronica tells him if she doesn’t do as he told, she was going to tell the police that he hit Benny and killed the little girl.
