The NBA trade deadline is Thursday, 3 PM ET..
Here we go. The trade dealine is 24 hours away and rumors are swirling around at a rapid pace. Will your team make a big trade? Or will the rumors die down? No one knows for sure yet, but fans hear the rumors and know what types of pieces their beloved team needs.
This time last year wasn’t a big trade deadline at all. The biggest trades were JJ Redick to the Bucks for a couple of players to the Magic, and Rudy Gay was shipped to Toronto in a three team trade between the Raptors, Pistons and Grizzlies. We don’t expect any big-time NBA stars to be moved, but there are a good amount of role players and draft picks that could give teams the pieces they need for the present and the future.
Some rosters need a point guard more than anything else, while some teams could use a big guy to grab some rebounds and hit the block for some easy baskets. A few teams know that their season is over and could make some moves to establish their rebuilding efforts for upcoming seasons, and a few rosters need one or two guys that could help them out in the playoffs.
