Looks like fans can only expect a tour this year from the ATL hip hop duo.

To many’s disappointment, Big Boi says there is no album in the works. It’s been 7 years since Andre 3000 and Big Boi hit the stage together as OutKast. And according to Big Boi, they have no plans to record an album – just a tour marking the 20 year anniversary of the legendary southern hip-hop group.

Big Boi is currently working on a new solo album, as well as a mixtape with the likes of Common, Wale, and J. Cole, entitled Game Of Thrones. But don’t get completely down upon the unearthing of this news; you can still expect to see performances from OutKast in 2014 at 40 festivals. It all kicks off at Coachella.

Peep the interview with Revolt TV, where Big Boi had this to say:

No, no, no. We’re just doing the tour only, just for the fans. That’s all it is, just the tour. I got a solo record I’m working on. But, it’s just the Outkast 20th year anniversary, just a way for us to celebrate with our fans, but there’s no album in the works, no.
