2. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1

The first two installments of the Hunger Games series saw Katniss Everdeen’s evolution from a nobody to a symbol of hope. The first half of the third installment looks to pick up from Catching Fire, with the beginning of the uprising against the Capitol. The late Phillip Seymour Hoffman will make his final cinematic appearance as Plutarch Heavensbee in Part 1 and 2 of Mockingjay following his unfortunate death earlier this month. Lionsgate confirmed that he completed filming all of his scenes for Part 1, and the majority of his scenes for Part 2; a digital rendering of the late actor will be used for a scene in the latter.
