Honorees of the night, such as Aretha Franklin & Ice Cube, carried the high note of their captivating looks from the carpet to the stage.

Janelle Monae is the perfect example of the new classic. Remaining devoted to her black and white signature, The Electric Lady adds color to the carpet in her dazzling suit. Complementing her petite figure, Janelle Monae spices up her outfit with a pair of smashing open toed heels. 

One of the honorees of the night was West Coast icon, Ice Cube. Accompanied by his beautiful wife, the duo arrived, completing eachothers looks. Cube arrived in the standard black and white tuxedo with his stunning smile to match. By his side, his wife, dressed in a top patterned, black gown with an elegant gold clutch to finalize the look.
