The NCAA Tournament is arguably the most thrilling event on the sports calendar. Students, alumni and fans across the country will join forces to root for and against perennial powerhouses, blue chippers and underdogs on their quest to a national title. The Louisville Cardinals came out on top in 2013, but an NCAA Basketball title repeat is extremely rare.
The biggest spectacle of March Madness is the unpredictable. Truly anything can happen, and the each of the 68 teams lucky enough to make it to the big dance have as good a chance to advance as the next team. The NCAA Tournament is fascinating because every team can have their, “One Shining Moment,” if fans and the players believe.
