Looks like MTV2 has the answers
There not that many television shows, if any, that have a great mixture of sports news and pop culture. In the past, many shows tried to bring together the two worlds ( i.e Mohr Sports) and completely failed. But, it looks like MTV2 may have a gem on their hands.
MTV2 has decided to bring Fat Joe and Sway Calloway together to form a show based around Major League Baseball and pop culture. Along with those two, Guy Code stars Chris Distefano and Melanie Iglesias will also help co-host the show.
The name of the show will be Off the bat from the MLB Fan Cave, and the executive producer of the show is none other than David Ortiz.
MTV has already locked in 30 episodes of the weekly show and will feature appearances from players such as Robinson Cano, Jose Fernadez and other MLB greats.
The series is slated to premier in April, so be on the look out.
