The Ladies Anthem “Not Tonight (Remix)” known to the public as “Ladies Night” kicks off our Flashback Friday, just in time for the 
weekend.

The classic hit from the “Nothing to Lose” soundtrack featured Lil’ Kim, Angie Martinez, the Late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, Da Brat and Missy Elliott and peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song dropped at a time when female rappers, or let me say female singers as well could actually unite (oh what a time). The video was shot in Miami in 1997 and had the ladies dashing off to an exotic island where women partied and got massages from men wearing leaves as underwear. The video had appearances from other female celebrities such as Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Changing Faces, SWV, TLC, Xscape, Blaque, Total and Maia Campbell.
