K.R.I.T. week commences

Big K.R.I.T. is expected to release his sophomore album, Cadillactica, some time this year, and to prepare fans for what’s on the horizon, Krizzle launches Week Of K.R.I.T., which will provide fans with a new song from the Mississippi native every day this week. This summer makes two years since K.R.I.T. released his debut album, Live From The Underground, which was mildly successful and debuted in the top 10 on Billboard.

Today’s new song features Rick Ross, whose 6th album, Mastermind, was released last night at midnight after originally being slated to release tonight. Over a self-produced slow-building metamorphic beat, K.R.I.T. & Rick Ross take turns lacing the profound bass line with their southern slick talk, making for a wholly entertaining listening experience. This probably won’t end up on Cadillactica, but if this is what K.R.I.T. has as a freelease, then he’ll have a good year.
