R. Kelly has become a polarizing figure in pop culture; either your love for his music overshadows the shameful actions of his past, or you can’t forgive the distasteful cover-up of his past transgressions. However, nothing seems to be able to derail his popularity train and he continues to find success every time he releases a new album. Last year’s Black Panties project successfully launched him back into the musical landscape, as his name was trending world wide and the discussion surrounding the Village Voice article pushed him further than before. Well, it was only the beginning, as he has already planned his next album. Clearly, color isn’t even a thing to R.Kelly, as his next project has been dubbed White Panties.
