It is now official! The first J Dilla Tribute Show in NYC will be taking place on Sunday, March 23rd at Webster Hall and Jarobi of A Tribe Called Quest will be hosting it. The show will feature performances by Talib Kweli, Phony Ppl, YC the Cynic and some surprise guests. There will also be a DJ set by DJ Parler and live art by Xpayne.
The event will be honoring J Dilla, his accomplishments and his ever lasting affect on hip-hop. So if your free on the 23rd come through to Webster Hall to celebrate J. Dilla, a major staple in hip-hop!
The tickets are available at websterhall.com and the proceeds will benefit the J Dilla Foundation.
