“Now he’s compromised. Jake will fight me for you.”-Fitz
Last night’s Scandal left viewers happy, sad and very mad! With so many twists and turns, we’ve identified the most important ones for fans who missed the fun. Check them out below:

- Fitz is now upset about Olivia using Jake as a faux boyfriend. There’s a huge argument at the beginning of the show, which Jake happens to overhear. Fitz then believes that Olivia is only dating Jake to offend him, however, she informs the president that her relationship or lack there of with Jake is based solely off of her desires to win an election without being the presidents “public whore”.
- There are many flashbacks to the days where Mellie was still coping with being raped by Fitz’s father. She pushed Fitz away, while Andrew,the then Lt.Governor recognized a problem with Mellie. He cares for her & comforts her. This is paralleled with present day events of Mellie telling Olivia, that their situations are not the same because Mellie “Kept her legs closed.”
- The exciting Adnan Salief fades away and the part that Harrison didn’t want back in the U.S appears. She wants him to “Do something for her.” Viewers later finds out exactly what the “something” is when he takes a briefcase full of her money and donates it to President Grant’s election in her name.
- Jake erupts. After coming home to Olivia & their fake relationship, he makes it clear that he doesn’t enjoy being the side guy and that he would at least like for their fake home to be comfortable for him.
- Quinn points a gun at Olivia. After Liv meets with her dad for dinner and she fails once again to get information out of him, she storms out, finding Quinn casing the spot. After Olivia begs Quinn to come back “home”, Quinn ensures Olivia that that will never happen and that she will not hesitate to kill Olivia if it is needed.
- The soon to be Vice President is brought up on prescription drug addiction allegations by a journalist. He admits to his faults but viewers soon find out that he is covering up for Mellie who attempted to overdose and kill her self after her rape. Shortly after, they reignited their flame & kiss!
- As Cyrus finds out about plubius and his plan, David Rosen (plubius for the day) goes to meet with the reporter who wants the mysterious character to reveal himself. Cyrus attempts to capture Plubius, however Abby and Huck rescues David just in time.
- Huck continuously brings Olivia coffee as a peace offering. He tells her that although she feels he went too far in torturing Quinn, she went too far putting him in an environment in which he has to act civilized when he is in fact a monster.
- B613 has an insider in the white house! Guess who…. It’s Fitz’s right hand Secret Service Agent.
- Last but certainly not least, OLIVIA’S MOM IS WORKING WITH HARRISON’S FRIEND ADNAN.
