3. Ikabod Veins
Hailing from South Florida comes a dreadlock Lex Luger affiliate tattoo artist with a flow and structure that sounds like it could be fitted into a Rob Zombie song. But, he’s a rapper. His unique style is all to his own, and the combination of his at times heavy-metal sounding voice with heavy trap music production sounds like it would be a contradiction. However, it flows like the Nile. Anyone who Lex Luger considers a, “genius” is one not to be reckoned with, and Ikabod Veins is just that. The combination of Ikabod’s and Boosie’s unorthodox styles would lead to an unorthodox song, but in a good, refreshing way. It would be a breath of fresh air from an industry saturated with Migos and Chief Keef copycats deriving from Chicago. It would be a mighty down-south collaboration, and I do hope to one day see it occur. A notable mention would too be Ikabod’s satanic New Syrmna Beach affiliate Bukkweat Bill.
