5. Kanye West
Kanye West. If there was ever a time to work with Mr. West, it would be now. Post Yeezus in his new industrial creative phase of this new sound he’s bringing to hip-hop. Still relevant 10 years after his debut College Dropout release, Kanye is still arguably at the peak of his performance, working with all spectrums of artistry in the genre. From new prospects like Young Thug and Chief Keef, to old heads like Jay (no hyphen) Z and long time affiliate Common, Kanye is the king of relevancy. A collaboration between two men that have stayed in the media’s eyes (whether it be via incarceration or fighting paparazzi) through all the changes of the cultures ways would be monumental and would be an all-star duo. Lil Boosie on a Kan’Yeezy beat? Yes please.
