He does look quite dapper.
General Colin Powell is probably not the first person who comes to mind when thinking of Facebook selfies, but the Former Secretary of State proves that he was one of the originals in a new photo.
The black and white picture displays a younger Powell in a white button-down and suspenders as he snaps a Polariod in the mirror. The caption reads, “I was doing selfies 60 years before you Facebook folks.”
Facebook commenters have seem to take a liking to the picture, with many noting the Powell’s good looks.
Powell also takes a playful stab at Ellen Degeneres saying, “Eat your heart out Ellen!” Is there a Throwback Thursday competition brewing?
This may be one of the best Throwback Thursday pics of the year.
