Bronx Hip Hop artist Fred the Godson hosts private press listening session for his new mix tape FatBoy Fresh
On Monday, March 11th Bronx Hip-Hop artist Fred The Godson hosted a private press listening session fir his Fatboy Fresh mixtape, alongside Thisis50 Radio host GossipViv. Led by the hit single ‘QUARTER PAST THREE’, Fatboy Fresh will serve as a re-introduction to Fred; featuring album-quality production and lyrics. Fatboy Fresh is being touted as an early favorite for 2014 Mixtape Of The Year.
“There’s a lot of bullshit of out there, man. I wanted to change the landscape,” says Fred of Fatboy Fresh. “I went in there and gave y’all something that could be classified as an album. I made sure the production on there is better than my previous mixtapes. It’s just big, the sound is powerful – it’s a breath of fresh air. There’s some big records on there.”
FatBoy Fresh private press event took place at the Akoo Showroom located in the heart of the garment district in Midtown, Manhattan and catered to special invited press, bloggers and tastemakers. Guest previewed exclusive hits from the mixtape, as they enjoyed an open bar sponsored by SX Liquors and delectable finger food sponsored by ChefsTape. Music was provided by Hot 97’s DJ Juanyto.
