You would think that Gene Simmons would be elated about him and his mega rock star group Kiss’ induction into the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame, but this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Mr. Simmons used his tongue for more than just exciting his female fans in a recent interview with Radio.com, where he lashed out at the induction of Hip Hop artists into to RNR HOF.

In the interview Gene says, “A long time ago it was diluted. It’s really back room politics, like Boss Tweed. A few people decide what’s in and what’s not. And the masses just scratch their heads. You’ve got Grandmaster Flash in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Run-D.M.C. in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? You’re killing me! That doesn’t mean those aren’t good artists. But they don’t play guitar. They sample and they talk.”

The former reality show star went on to express his distaste for other black artists’ induction into the prestigious selection of legendary artists including disco princess Donna Summer.

Simmons’ rant comes less than a month before Kiss’ induction, which is scheduled for April 10th at the Barclay Center.
