Back in 1988, she released her debut with the title, All Hail The Queen, where she released the greatest ladies anthem of all time, “Ladies First” featuring the introduction of another female rapper at the time Monie Love. “Ladies First” remained to be the ultimate hip hop classic of all time and still being used to this day. When she released her debut album, she was the first female rapper to be part of the Zulu Nation that also featured fellow rap groups, A Tribe Called Quest and The Jungle Brothers. She also made history as she made her tv appearance on Yo! MTV Raps at the time it got started.
