Buncombe County, N.C is in hot water! 
Nine year old, Grayson Bruce‘s favorite show is My Little Pony, a show centered around love and friendship, which is the exact opposite of what Bruce was met with when he wore a backpack featuring the shows characters to school.
North Carolina new station WLOS-TV caught up with Grayson to talk about his recent struggles, “Most of the characters in the show are girls … most of the toys are girly … surprisingly I found stuff like this,” Grayson told reporters, referring to a more boy themed blue bag.
He describes being punched and teased all for wearing a backpack that he liked. When action was brought forth to his school, he and his mom were told that he should leave the backpack at home, calling it a “trigger for bullying”.
