This time around, she is not giving her heart away
Singer, Keyshia Cole, released her new single, “Next Time (Won’t Give My Heart Away) as she channels her heartbreak and that she’s going to play her cards right.
So far this week, the LA diva has been doing interviews and dropping new singles from the album like her newest single, “Rick James” featuring Juicy J.
She embodies her relationship with her estranged husband Daniel “Boobie” Gibson as she sings:
“The crazy part about it is I took you right back / I thought you were a changed man / I tried to work it out for the sake of my family / But you took my kindness for weakness and my love for granted”
Let’s just say that all women could relate on how she feels as they give their heart to a man but in turn they are stabbed in the back. Her sixth album is set to be released in August and would be her last for Interscope Records.
