NBA superstar LeBron James is taking his talents from the court to the soft drink market by launching his own limited edition Sprite. Thursday night the Miami Heat player took to Instagram to indorse his new drink where he said “Only right I ride with my own Sprite 6 Mix.”
The Sprite 6 Mix by LeBron James hits shelves this month featuring traditional lemon-lime flavors mixed with cherry and orange. It will be sold in 19.2 ounce cans and 20 ounce bottles decked in a custom logo that feature his name, number, initials and the “King James” crown.
The NBA champion has had a deal with Coca-Cola since he joined the league in 2003 and is enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with one of his “favorite” brands to develop his own beverage.
“I never imagined I would have my own flavor someday said James in a statement. “I’m proud of what we created and I’m excited for my fans to try it.”
