Family and friends of victims affected by last week’s SXSW tragedy are still putting the pieces together and Austin Community Foundation is trying to help.
The foundation has set up a fund aimed at aiding those affected.
Donations will help cover medical bills, travel expenses and more for victims.
According to the ACF website, the fund has raised $112,698.00 to date.
“Donations to the SXSW Cares Fund at the Austin Community Foundation will be disbursed to those most affected through a community-based process to be created by representatives of SXSW, the local music industry, the Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau and the City of Austin with the Austin Community Foundation.”
