Apparently, its the Roc
Jay Electronica‘s relevancy–at least in discussions of his career and upcoming music–have exponentially increased over the past couple weeks, due in large part to an ambiguous sighting of him at SxSW at The Throne‘s showcase, and a random release of a song many understand to be on his phantom debut album, Act II.
The plot just thickened, as he and his label head, Jay Z, re-work Drake & Soulja Boy‘s “We Made It” freestyle, with no promise of upcoming music or more collaborations, but a slew of understandably entertaining bars. This makes the second time these two have hooked up (“Shiny Suit Theory”), and its safe to say given the product Elec has given out in the past couple weeks, Act II needs to be here. Like yesterday.
