Singer, Kelly Rowland, made the announcement that she is parting ways with her label Universal Records as she starts off on a new note by starting the process of her fifth album.
The announcement came as she became the face of Caress. While she was on the label, she recorded two hit albums for them, Talk A Good Game and Here I Am.
The former X Factor judge is engaged to music executive, Tim Witherspoon and wants to crossover into acting. For the new album, she is using more instruments and even the influence of fellow singer, Diana Ross.
Here is what she told Huff Post Live about starting on a new note:
“I feel like right now, I just needed something new and I’ve earned the right to make my own choices and make my own decisions, I wish them well, they wish me well. No hard feelings, I just needed a fresh, new start.”
