Less than a week after his release from the Jets, Mark Sanchez will be Nick Foles‘ backup for the Philadelphia Eagles. Coming off an entire season of rest due to a shoulder injury, the QB is back, healthy and ready to play again.  The Eagles have called a news conference for 10:30 a.m. ET Friday to introduce Sanchez.

“It’s a position of need for us,” Chip Kelly said at the league meetings this week. “We played three quarterbacks last year. I don’t think you can look at your roster and ever say, ‘We’re good at quarterback.’ ”

Once the 5th pick in the NFL draft, I wonder how exited Philly fans are for this move. The deal will be for 1 year with a maximum value of $4 million. even though he is coming on as a backup, his knowledge and experience will provide a great fresh start for this Eagles team.
