Calling all cupcake lovers!
Are you a cupcake lover that resides in New York City, but happen to find yourself always on the go? Then you’ll be pleased to hear that Sprinkles Cupcakes has unveiled its first 24-hour ‘Cupcake ATM.’
The cupcake dispenser serves as New York City’s first Cupcake ATM and contains up to 760 cupcakes at a time in 20 different varieties. Just like a bank ATM, with the touch of a button you can choose your selection and swipe your card, prior to being given your sugary goods in a pink and brown box.
Charles Nelson, co-founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes, insisted that, “The cupcakes are as fresh as they are at the store.”
In an effort to keep the cupcakes fresh, the machine will be restocked two to three times a day. With the exception of the $5 mini cupcakes for dogs, every other cupcake can be purchased for $4.25.
The machine is set to be made available on Tuesday on the Upper East Side next to the Sprinkles Cupcake bakery on Lexington Avenue between 60th and 61st .
