Spell his name right, it’s Djay Cas.
Djay Cas has been making music since he was 14 years old and has now been in the game for almost ten years. His most notable production works to date are Young Jeezy & USDA’s “Bag Music” and Nipsey Hussle’s “Keys to the City.” In preparation for his forthcoming mixtape The Waiting Game, he recently released a new track titled “Billion Strong Remix” featuring Black Cobain, MMG affiliate Fat Trel, and Donnatella. While the beat is dark and gritty, the precision of each instrument creates a hypnotic vibe to which each emcee delivers an emphatic verse that fits accordingly. It’s a formula that Djay Cas has seemed to master over the years and he’s ready to unleash it in heavy doses. The mixtape is slated for a summer release and will include artist features from Le$, Snoop Dogg, Jay Rock, Gunplay, Lil Reese, Tyga and more. It’s the first project for Djay Cas but undoubtedly the last. Check out the first single here.
