Football film “Draft Day” hits theaters this Friday, April 11. In New York and LA, Summit Entertainment hosted an advanced screenings of “Draft Day” on April 3. In Los Angeles FOX Sports 1’s Mike Hill (host of America’s Pregame Show) served as host at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live. The screening brought out over 100+ influencers, sports enthusiasts, and Professional Athletes for the first-look at the film. Special guest attendees included: Patrick Faucette (actor from “Tyler Perry’s, The Haves and the Have Nots”), Ronnie Hillman (Denver Broncos), Jerron Johnson (2014 Super Bowl Champions, Seattle Seahawks), Andre Branch (Jacksonville Jaguars), Robert Sacre (LA Lakers center), top NFL Draft Prospect Bene’ Benwikere, (who’s currently chronicling his journey to the 2014 NFL Draft with USA TODAY Sports) and comedian/actor Guy Torry.

On the same evening, Mario Manningham of the NY Giants and Nike Football Society hosted a VIP screening of the film in New York. Celebs and tastemakers including Antrel Rolle of the NY Giants, Project Runway Season 11 contestant Sammy B, Delaina Dixon of VH1’s “Gossip Table,” Artie Thompson of ‘Chef Roble & Co.’ and Tawqfiq Hisham of ‘The Blacklist’ were in attendance and taking pictures at the Oh Snap! Photo booth with football themed props. Mario chatted with media about the upcoming release of the film and how excited he was to be back in New York where he began his career. Manningham and Kameron McCullough of Nike Football Society introduced the film to thank everyone for coming.
