Another UConn Husky wins the Bob Cousy Award
If heading to the championship game wasn’t enough, UConn senior point guard Shabazz Napier picked up some hardware too.

Napier is this year’s recipient of the Bob Cousy Award, which is given to the best point guard in college basketball. The award was handed out by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and he is the first Husky to win since Kemba Walker three seasons ago.
According to Cousy, he stated:
“Napier has fought hard in the NCAA Tournament and has stood out all throughout his college career as a dominant force in the game and a remarkable point guard.”
Shabazz Napier averaged 17.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.9 assist and 1.8 steals a game.
