Last week we were excited to bring the news that classic illustrator and creator of the 90’s Batman: The Animated Series, Bruce Timm was returning for a short Batman film. Well the short aired this week during Cartoon Networks’ DC Universe block in honor of the Dark Knight’s 75th anniversary. The short, which is indeed short — lasting less than 3 minutes in runtime — is a black and white film depicting the caped crusader earlier in his career. This lost tale manages to jam pack some awesome moments in a short timeframe, with Timm’s long-eared depiction of Batman taking on Dr. Hugo Strange and one of his monstrous minions.
