The Denmark artist is back with more.
You may remember popular artist Patso Dimitrov, as he has been featured on a couple of Sneaker Of The Day posts here at The Source due to his concept sneakers based on popular & classic hip-hop albums. Now the designer has decided to take a little break from the music and is trying his hand in other areas.
The NBA Playoffs begin this Saturday, April 19th, & in celebration Dimitrov has designed seven pairs of sneakers for the special event:
“For my first two projects I used album covers as inspiration for the designs, but this time around I wanted to use my own inspiration, without any “help”. With the NBA playoffs just around the corner I felt like I had to do something about it.”
That quote led to some awesome designs on some popular kicks, including the Nike Zoom Crusader, the Adidas Crazy 1, & the new Nike Kobe 9– but this time, with a personal twist. For James Harden, he took the Nike Zoom Crusader & made the Nike Zoom Crusader “Floral Rocket”, & a pair of adidas Crazyquick 2 were given a “Superhero” look for John Wall.
Once again, these shoes are not actually in the making, as Patso has only created them to show us his unique spin- but who knows, third time’s a charm. Take a peek at his “Playoff” collection below, & follow him on Twitter for a look at his upcoming work.
