Hayward Police Department on hunt for suspect who robbed bank wearing an “I Have Issues” t-shirt
Police authorities in the Bay Area are on the hunt for a man who robbed a U.S. Bank on Hesperian Blvd. in Hayward shortly before 4 p.m. on Tuesday. According to Hayward Police Department Sgt. Eric Melendez, the man appeared to be a Hispanic male in his 20s and was wearing a t-shirt that read, “I Have Issues.”
Melendez also reported that the unidentified man passed along a note to a bank teller that read he was armed and attempting to rob the bank.
Though the teller saw no weapon, she obliged and gave him the cash she had withdrawn from her drawer.
The Hayward Police Department describes the man as approximately 5’8” and 185 pounds.
