Drake was named the official global ambassador of the Toronto Raptors just before the start of the 2013-2014 season, and Toronto finished the season 3rd in the Eastern Conference, directly behind the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers, two bonafide title contenders. Call it a coincidence, but Drizzy’s soaking in every moment. A day after his Raptors took it to the Brooklyn Nets, tying their opening round series at 1 apiece, Drake sat down for a chat with two of Grantland‘s own, former Toronto Raptor Jalen Rose and popular sports journalist Bill Simmons.
