9. Patrick Beverly
The Rockets are having a hard time defending anyone on the Portland Trailblazers, but the spark plug and defensive juggernaut for Houston is Patrick Beverly. He has a reputation for getting on the nerves of the opposing guards and he does it better than anyone else in the league. He is also stepping up his scoring production with 13 ppg in this series against the Blazers.
Beverly has a tough task against the Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard. It’s time for Beverly to live up to his reputation and slow down the young Portland point guard or the Rockets might face a first round early exit. Thanks to the unlikely heroics of Troy Daniels in Game 3, this series is going to be a little bit longer.
