It’s okay to come to church as you are, God accepts everyone as they are. Since Adam and Eve ate the forbidden apple, unfortunately what we wear does matter when we are entering the sanctuary. Attending church we want to make sure the attention is not on us because we decided to wear the same club dress we went out in last night. Of course if that’s all you have, so be it in the name of Jesus.
Wearing more doesn’t always mean what your wearing is church appropriate either. Just because Reverend Run and he’s a “Reverend” wears Addias Sweatpants doesn’t mean it’s okay for you to wear! Just like you’re going to that business casual job, treat church the same. We have what not to wear to church, especially after you’ve seen some wacky outfits in today’s service.
