This sh*t for Khaled, for We The Best and…
DJ Khaled‘s promo game has gotten significantly better with each album, and this summer, it’ll be no different. The certified hit-maker is back for an eighth summer, after last summer found Khaled achieving gold success with his Drake, Rick Ross & Lil’ Wayne-featured “No New Friends”, and he’s bringing Jay Z along for the ride.
That’s right, everyone’s favorite screaming DJ’s first single will feature Jay Z, no word on whether he’ll be the only featured artist or not, or who produced the song, but Khaled’s so excited about the song he took over the interview he had with Rob Markman earlier on MTV, cursing, gesturing, and tossing the microphone to the floor in an effort to convey the importance and impact of the music he has coming this summer.
Also, Khaled took it upon himself to travel to Jay Z’s infamous childhood residence, Marcy Projects in Brooklyn NY, in order to draw inspiration from the now hallowed grounds.
