7-Year-Old Artist Yung Lenox Opens His Own West Coast Art Gallery

Yung Lenox is way beyond his time. Since we last reported on the 7-year-old artist, he’s been continuing to do what he does best — drawing Hip Hop and pop culture’s most acclaimed faces. With a modest Instagram following of over 7,000, a t-shirt collaboration, and an apparent documentary in the works, the Seattle-based second grader is a harbinger of the next generation of artists — and he has the opportunity to prove that.

In collaboration with LRG, Yung Lenox will make his debut on the west coast with the opening of his “LA’s Most Wanted” exhibition. The show will feature 30 of Lenox’s own original art work, as well as eight unreleased pieces. Yung Lenox will attend the event, with signed prints available for purchase. “LA’s Most Wanted” starts next week, Thursday, May 8th from 7 to 10pm at Gallery 1988 (West) — if you’re in the LA area, be sure to check the Yung God’s work out!
