Wayne’s ambiguous rap album’s getting teased.
First, it was Kobe Bryant. Earlier in the week he let loose with this tweet, that sent the rap internet scrambling, with what they thought was the official reveal of the cover art to Weezy’s upcoming album, Tha Carter V.

This time, same concept, different athlete. Floyd Mayweather just posted a video to his Instagram account, showing Lil’ Wayne & Drake in the studio vibing out to some unknown song, but by the look on both of their faces, its a headbanger. The caption on the video was “Carter V Season”, and although we have no official release date for the project, the two social media ploys are reason to believe fresh Lil’ Wayne music is upon us.
