This is…generous.
Wes Welker, former New England Patriot, current Denver Bronco and lifetime nuisance to opposing defenses, was at the Kentucky Derby over the weekend and he hit it pretty big.
So, on the way out, he decided to pass out some $100 bills. It seems like a pretty nice, humanitarian effort, and Welker’s certainly got the money. He just signed a deal with the Broncos last summer that will pay him 6 million a year over 2 seasons, so we doubt he’s missing whatever he gave out, he might not have even made a dent in his winnings, let alone his actual money, but its still an interesting story.
