K.Michelle shows the bond between mother and child
Singer K. Michelle gives out an early Mother’s Day as she released the video for the single, “A Mother’s Prayer” which is dedicated to all of the mothers who are doing what they can to take care of their kids.
The single is off her successful debut album, Rebellious Soul and it tells the story of a single mother raising her son. Amil Barnes directed the video and towards the end of the video, it shows footage of Michelle interacting with her son, Chase as he do the Nae Nae.
Here is what she told Essence Magazine about her son, Chase:
“My son Chase is the center of my universe, My fans and media don’t often see him in the spotlight with me and that is because I work really hard to keep his childhood as normal and carefree as possible. I think the most difficult part of my job is not being there each night to tuck my son in, but the sacrifices I make while working are all with his better interest in mind. Being a mother is the most challenging and rewarding part of my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
