While we wait for Mariah Carey’s 14th studio album, Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse, Q-Tip decided to let loose a remix to one of her hit singles for everyone to enjoy, “Meteorite”. For over four minutes listeners are treated to an old school soul and r&b track, which fits Mariah’s high registered notes like a snug glove. The Abstracts production really shines through, as he adds some funky percussion and an interesting work on the keys. Our excitement for this upcoming album couldn’t get higher previously, but after this it might have reach otherworldly levels. She stills have all the tools that made her famous, but she sounds refined and ready to take over; belt crazy notes and harmonizing wonderfully. Check it out below
