New York’s rising freshman, Troy Ave, returns with brand new visuals from his New York City: The Album. He doesn’t sugarcoat what the track is about, going so far as to name it “My Grind”. Troy discusses his hard work and the moves that he makes to get to the top of the game, a position that he is getting closer to achieving.
The accompanying video is quite minimalist, featuring the emcee against a white backdrop with a fur coat on (a slight reference to the wardrobe of other New York greats). It definitely symbolizes his straightforward approach to his work and his move away from possible distractions. Check out the video above and tell us what you think below.
